1. Introduction
Shopbraze ("we", "us", "our") operates a profitability-led D2C storefront and growth platform for Indian manufacturers, traders, and brand owners ("Sellers"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit shopbraze.com, use our platform as a Seller, or interact with a storefront powered by Shopbraze as an end customer ("Customer").
By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our platform.
2. Scope of Our Business
Shopbraze is a technology and services provider. We offer storefront infrastructure, checkout, logistics integrations, performance marketing tools, analytics, and WhatsApp Business API messaging on behalf of Sellers.
When you purchase products from a Seller's Shopbraze-powered storefront, the Seller is the merchant of record for that transaction. Product listings, pricing, fulfilment timelines, and post-purchase policies (including returns and refunds) are set by the individual Seller. Shopbraze processes data as a platform operator and, where applicable, as a data processor acting on a Seller's instructions.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information you provide
- Sellers: name, business name, email, mobile number, product category, order volume, marketplace details, billing information, and communications with our team.
- Customers: name, delivery address, phone number, email (if provided), order details, payment method (processed by third-party payment gateways — we do not store full card details), and support messages.
- Demo / enquiry forms: contact details submitted via our website enquiry modal.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and browser type, IP address, pages visited, referral source, and interaction events.
- Analytics via Google Analytics and similar tools to improve our website and platform.
- Order, shipment, and payment status data from integrated logistics and payment partners.
4. WhatsApp Business API Communications
Shopbraze integrates with the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) to send transactional and service-related messages to Customers on behalf of Sellers. By placing an order or providing your mobile number at checkout, you consent to receive WhatsApp messages related to your purchase.
4.1 Types of messages we may send
- Order confirmation — order ID, items purchased, and order total.
- Payment updates — payment received, failed, or pending (including COD confirmation where applicable).
- Shipping & delivery updates — dispatch notification, AWB/tracking number, courier name, estimated delivery, out-for-delivery, and delivered status.
- NDR / delivery attempts — failed delivery alerts and requests to confirm address or reschedule.
- Cart recovery — reminders for abandoned carts (only where you initiated checkout and applicable marketing consent exists).
- Customer support — responses to queries about order status, returns, or product information initiated by you or the Seller.
4.2 Message standards
Messages are sent using WhatsApp-approved message templates. We do not send unsolicited promotional content outside of WhatsApp's permitted categories and applicable consent requirements. Message frequency depends on your order activity and support interactions.
4.3 Opt-out
You may stop WhatsApp messages by replying STOP on WhatsApp, contacting the Seller directly, or emailing us at support@shopbraze.com. Note that opting out of marketing messages does not affect essential transactional messages required to fulfil your order (e.g., delivery updates) where permitted by law and WhatsApp policy.
4.4 Data shared with Meta
WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms. Message delivery requires sharing your phone number and message content with Meta's WhatsApp Business API infrastructure. Meta's privacy practices are governed by their own policies at whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy.
5. How We Use Your Information

7. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide services, fulfil legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Order and communication logs may be retained for up to seven (7) years unless a longer period is required by law.
8. Security
